Fire alarm upgrade at Alps

Alps are a nationwide installer and fabricator of louvres and louvre screens, specialising in large scale projects and delivering bespoke designs.

Their head office in Havant consists of two large warehouse units with offices.

The recently moved all of their fire and security services to Fusion from a local provider who they were having issues with. We relished the chance to shine and deployed our service team to carry out a full service, test and inspection of the systems.

After speaking with the managing director Mark it became apparent that there was a shortfall in fire detection within the warehouse areas. Mark took this very seriously as Alps often store high value equipment in these warehouses and the interruption and damage a fire could cause would be a real issue to Alps.

Fusion got to work quickly and we are pleased to have now completed the works of supplementary smoke detection.

The fire alarm system is connect to an alarm receiving centre so if a device activates Marks team are quickly notified.
